Holding Folding Falling Over
This work is about the gesture of holding. It's about the tension between things holding up, supporting, so others can fold and fall over. We see this gesture all around us in daily life: in relationships, in nature, in our built environment. By isolating this moment, capturing its simplicity and using materials in a very straightforward way, this work displays simultaneously the looming danger of things falling over, as well as the serenity of things that are in perfect balance.
